Teachers
Anton Böhler
Anton is a Vienna based yogi and started practicing in 2011. After meeting Boris Georgiev he dove deep into Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga and started studying with him.
He completed an 800h Yoga Alliance Professional Training with Boris and a 200h Yoga Alliance Teacher Training with Andrew Eppler, producer of the 'Mysore Yoga Traditions' documentary.
Andrew inspired him to travel to Mysore to meet Sri BNS Iyengar, one of T.Krishnamacharya direct students who still teaches Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga at the age of over 90.
Anton became a devout practitioner of this lineage.
Besides studying Asana, Pranayama, Mudra and Philosophy with BNS Iyengar, he took classes in Chanting and Meditation with the founders of Ananta Research Foundation, Dr. MA Jayashree and Prof. Narasimhan and Yoga Darshana with Dr. Lakshmitatachar, founder of Samskrti Foundation in Melukote.
Benjamin Fink
Benjamin discovered his passion for Yoga on a trip to India in 2011. The start of his journey, and shortly after his first teacher training, was in the tradition of Sivananda Yoga. Nevertheless, after getting to know Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, he found another style to teach and practice.
Benjamin regularly travels to India, especially Mysore, where he gets to study and practice with exceptional teachers like BNS Iyengar, Vijay Kumar, Saraswati Jois and Gregor Maehle. Over the years he also got to explore other styles of Yoga and movement systems.
For years, Yoga, acrobatics and training with bodyweight or weights are part of his daily life. As a physiotherapist, the health aspect of yoga practice is of particular concern to Benjamin.
That is why he incorporates his medical expertise and practical experience from the life of a therapist into his teachings. "Experimental Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga" would be an adequate description of the style that Benjamin primarily teaches today.
Away from regular classes, he specializes in applied anatomy and training science, but also handstands, arm balances and vinyasa, which are offered in trainings and workshops, but also individual coaching.
